Start before you’re ready

You might think that productivity is an idea of maximizing your every hour, like multitasking, enhancing work-efficiency. But, the truth is that productivity is not an end goal, but a byproduct of having a sense of direction, mental clarity and living a well-balanced life. I’ve learned this by the video, that I put below (Thanks to struthless69 !)

Getting a bird’s eye view is the first step since clarity leads to productivity. One way that helps you do this is to ask yourself “what do you want from life?”. I know this kind of self-help question sounds daunting, but let me explain why it helps.

Most importantly, the easiest way to answer this is to get rid of the pressure of having to give some big grandiose answer. All you need to do is , first, put on a timer for 30 seconds, and then write out what do you want from the top to the bottom in a concise manner, lastly work backwards, which means, think about actions that take you from where you are now to where you want to be.

It is worth to note that action comes before motivation. In other words, one way that you can get things started is to just start doing something before you figure out your motivation. This is one of the fastest ways to unlocking your potential.
