Koi fish have become an iconic symbol of Japan. They are considered a legendary fish and one of the most recognizable fish. In this country, the image of Koi carp is power, strength, and perseverance. I’m going to share an old tale about koi fish.

A big school of Koi is swimming upstream the Yellow river. Eventually, they reached a waterfall at the end of the river, but many of the koi retreated since the flow of the waterfall was so intense. However, the remaining Koi refused to give up, they leaped from the depth of the river and attempted to reach the top of the waterfall.

Their huge efforts unfortunately caught the attention of demons. The demons appeared and started mocking the koi, even heightened the waterfall out of malice. But, the koi persisted. After a hundred years of jumping, one koi finally reached the top. The gods recognized the koi and turned it into a dragon

This is the whole story about one koi transforming to a dragon. To conclude, koi fish are associated with positive energy and they are an epitome of strength, perseverance.
